8. Position Words Activity–"Where is Teddy?"



        Objective: To help children understand and use words like in, on,

        under, beside, behind.

        Activity: "Where is Teddy?" (Dramatic Play)

        Materials:

         A teddy bear or soft toy.


         A chair, table, box, or basket.


         Flashcards with position words and pictures.

        Steps:

        1. Demonstration:


          Place the teddy on the chair. Ask:

            "Where is Teddy?" Guide them to say: "Teddy is on the chair."


        2. Interactive Practice:

          Keep changing the teddy's place:


          Under the table

          In the box


          On the chair

        3. Students Involvement:


          Let children take turns placing Teddy and asking classmates:


          "Where is Teddy now?"

        4. Extension Worksheet (Optional):


          A  picture-based  worksheet  where  students  circle  the  correct

             position of the teddy.

        Learning Outcome: Children will begin to use in, on, under, behind,


        etc., in the sentences confidently.
