3. Story Circle Time
Objective: Develop listening and imagination skills.
How to do it:
Gather children in a circle. Begin a story with one line: "Once
there was a lion...".
Let each child add one line: "who loved to dance," "...he met a
monkey" etc.
You wrap up the story at the end.
Skills: Speaking, creativity, memory and sequencing.
4. Action Words (Verb Time)
Objective: Learn verbs and practice them through movement.
Materials:
Flashcards with action words and pictures (run, jump, sit, hop,
clap).
How to Play:
Show a card and say: "Let's all clap!"
Children perform the action.
Next, ask them to guess the action and speak the word aloud.
Skills: Vocabulary, listening and physical activity.
5. Rhyming Word Match
Objective: Build sound awareness and pre-reading skills.
Materials:
Cards with rhyming pairs: cat-hat, sun-bun, pin-bin.
