A cartoon is a type of illustration, possibly animated,
typically in a non-realistic or semi-realistic style.
Cartooning is a way of finding one’s creativity and
expressing it through various medium. A good
cartoonist is one who can extract the main details of
an object or a human being and simplify in shapes
so that a child can recognise and be attracted to
what they’re looking at.
The word cartoon usually refers to a funny drawing
or an animation. The caricaturist deals primarily with
personal and political satire, while the cartoonist
treats types and groups in comedies of manners.
This drawing style is commonly used in making a
bold and impactful statement in politics and society.
