3D Art
3D artwork occupies three-dimensional space,
possessing height, width, and depth. It can be
viewed from multiple viewing angles. Unlike
two-dimensional works, which create the illusion
of depth on a flat surface, 3D art has a physical
presence that can be viewed and appreciated
from multiple angles. It generates greater depth
and realism, allowing viewers to interact with the
artwork in a more immersive way. Despite being
viewable from all sides, artists often design a
focal point to guide the viewer’s attention.
The artist must consider how a viewer interacts
with the work. The artwork’s position, scale, and
lighting, all influence the viewer’s perception.
